For accessibility teams

Audio alternatives for mathematics, checked before they’re shared.

Disability services, alternative-format producers and learning-support teams can turn lecture notes, problem sets and chapters into narration — with a transcript and captions for every file, and a reading you have approved.

What you can do

Readings your team controls

Every formula appears beside its spoken reading. Adjust readings to match your house conventions before anything is rendered.

Captions and scripts included

Each narration comes with WebVTT captions and a plain-text script, alongside MP3 for listening and WAV for editing.

One consistent voice

All material is narrated in the same designed Evaria voice, so students hear a familiar reader across courses.

How it works

Check the reading. Then render.

  1. Import the LaTeX source from the lecturer, or a PDF when that is all you have.
  2. Check each passage against its source; unreadable notation is flagged.
  3. Render in Standard for notes and exercises, or Studio for long chapters.
  4. Listen through, mark the narration reviewed, and share the audio with its captions and script.

A probability measure

Standard · 0:11
Read the transcript

Pi of f is the integral of f of x with respect to pi. Here, pi names a probability measure. Pi of f is the expectation of f under that measure.

Narration complements accessible documents such as tagged PDFs or screen-reader-friendly mathematics; it does not replace them where those are required.

Automatic readings can be wrong. Review every narration before providing it as an accommodation, and take particular care with material imported from PDF.

Try it on your own material.
