How credits work
One credit is one character of the prepared spoken script — the words that will actually be said, including spaces and punctuation — in Standard mode. Studio mode uses two credits per character. Formulas count as the words they are read as. Explicit pauses and our own internal retries are never charged.
Reserve, charge, release
- When you submit a render, the quoted credits are reserved from your balance.
- When the audio is delivered, those credits are charged, once.
- If the render fails or you cancel it before it finishes, the reservation is released automatically and the credits return to your balance.
Every step appears in the usage history on your dashboard.
Expiry
- A plan’s monthly allowance is spent first and expires at the next renewal.
- Free trial, promotional and top-up credits do not expire while your account exists.
- Credits have no cash value, cannot be transferred, and lapse if you delete your account.
Corrections and quality refunds
If a delivered narration misreads your mathematics, mark it “Request a correction” in the studio and tell us which passage, quoting the job reference. A correction request does not refund credits automatically, because the audio has been delivered. We review every report; when a misreading is confirmed to be our error — not a reading you approved in the script — we refund the credits for that render to your balance.
Payment refunds
If you were charged in error, charged twice, or cannot use what you bought because of a problem on our side, email hello@evaria.ai with the date and amount. We review payment refund requests individually. When a payment is refunded, the credits it bought are removed from your balance. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law.
Cancelling a plan
You can cancel from the billing portal in your dashboard at any time. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you have paid for, and it will not renew. Unused monthly allowance expires at the end of that period; your other credits remain available.
