Departments, disability services, publishers and course producers: volume credits, invoicing and terms that fit your procurement.

Prices are in USD. Minutes are estimates based on typical speaking rates; you are charged by the characters of the prepared script. See credits and refunds for the full rules.

Pricing questions

The details, up front.

What is a credit?

One credit is one character of the prepared spoken script — the words Evaria will actually say, including spaces and punctuation. Every voice costs the same, so the quote you see in the studio is the quote you pay, and only once the audio is delivered.

Formulas are counted as the words they are read as, so a short LaTeX expression can become a longer spoken phrase. The studio always shows the exact quote for each mode before you render.

How are the minute estimates calculated?

They assume about 925 characters of script per minute of audio, the measured pace of the default voice; brisk voices fit a little more into a minute and stately ones a little less. Real durations vary with the text and the formulas in it.

When are credits charged?

Credits are reserved when you submit a narration and charged once when the audio is delivered. If a render fails or you cancel it before it finishes, the reserved credits are released.

Requesting a correction does not refund a delivered narration automatically. Tell us about a misreading and we review it; confirmed quality problems can receive a credit refund.

Do unused credits expire?

A plan’s monthly allowance is used first and expires at the next renewal. Free trial, promotional and top-up credits do not expire while your account exists.

Can I cancel a plan?

Yes. You can cancel from the billing portal at any time; your plan and remaining allowance stay available until the end of the current billing period.

Do you offer institutional or volume pricing?

Yes. Universities, disability services, publishers and course producers can contact hello@evaria.ai about volume credits, invoicing and terms.
